Sailor Mercy is a family-owned wellness brand based in Minnesota, specializing in small-batch elderberry syrup, immune-supporting products, and natural wellness goods made with clean, honest ingredients.
I’m Dani — a Minnesota mom of four, wife to Doug, and the heart behind Sailor Mercy. We live just north of Stillwater, where family, faith, and community shape everything we do. What started as a way to support my own children’s health has grown into a purpose-driven business rooted in care, consistency, and trust.
Today, Sailor Mercy is best known for our handcrafted elderberry syrups and herbal wellness products, trusted by families who value simple ingredients and traditional methods. Over the years, our work and mission have also been recognized in both regional and national media, with features in outlets including Forbes, Fox 9, ABC 6 News, St. Croix Valley Magazine, CanvasRebel, The Stillwater Gazette, Kowalski’s At Home Magazine, and Feast Local Foods Marketplace.
Why Sailor Mercy Was Created
Sailor Mercy began in 2017 during a season when I was searching for natural ways to support our kids’ immune health throughout the school year. I started making Elderberry Syrup in small batches for my own family, using real ingredients and traditional methods. As friends and neighbors began asking for it, the mission became clear:
to create wellness products that families can feel confident using every day.
Today, Sailor Mercy offers elderberry syrups, fire cider, wellness drinks, and thoughtfully crafted products designed to support everyday health — without cutting corners or overcomplicating ingredients.

Before starting Sailor Mercy, I spent over 22 years in the restaurant industry and became a licensed general contractor, so working with my hands, building from the ground up, and serving others has always been part of who I am. That experience influences how we operate today — with intention, precision, and pride in our work.
